Christina was born in Honduras, raised in Pennsylvania, and has spent a number of years working in Latin America. Prior to the kids' birth, she taught 2nd grade just down the street from their house and now works part-time as an instructional coach for elementary school teachers in the neighborhood.
Christina and Curt Saxton live and serve in the Fairhill neighborhood of North Philadelphia. Married in March 2007, they now have 5 kids: Elijah (14), Titus (13), Leila (11), Tamara (8), and Perpetua (2).
